WINNIPEG — The daily COVID-19 news conference in Manitoba has been cancelled for the second day in a row.

On Saturday, the daily news conference was also cancelled, though health officials gave a COVID-19 update electronically in the afternoon.

Health officials also reminded Manitobans to avoid visiting their cottages, as the increase of seasonal visitors could put a strain on smaller health centres if people get sick.

A COVID-19 update for Sunday is expected to be released this afternoon. CTV News will update this story as more health information becomes available.
