WINNIPEG — The daily COVID-19 news conference in Manitoba has been cancelled for the second day in a row.
On Saturday, the daily news conference was also cancelled, though health officials gave a COVID-19 update electronically in the afternoon.
Four new cases were announced yesterday, bringing the total number of COVID-19 cases in Manitoba to 267. The number of Manitobans who have recovered from the virus is 199.
Health officials also reminded Manitobans to avoid visiting their cottages, as the increase of seasonal visitors could put a strain on smaller health centres if people get sick.
A COVID-19 update for Sunday is expected to be released this afternoon. CTV News will update this story as more health information becomes available.
