Monday marked the first day that some businesses and services in Manitoba were allowed to welcome back customers and clients as part of Phase 1 of the province’s reopening strategy.
Provincial health orders had shut down all non-essential services and many remain shuttered as Manitoba health officials work to keep the pandemic under control.
There had been 275 cases of the novel coronavirus in Manitoba as of Monday morning. It has infected millions worldwide and more than 60,000 Canadians.
