Man’s death in Thompson investigated as homicide: RCMP

The RCMP are investigating a man’s death in Thompson as a homicide. 

Police were told the 28-year-old died suddenly on Sunday morning. 

RCMP believe the death is related to an incident that took place at a house party on Saturday, the Mounties said in a news release on Tuesday. 

The death is being investigated as a homicide and an autopsy was scheduled for Tuesday, police said.

Thompson RCMP, along with major crimes services and the forensic identification unit, continue to investigate.

Thompson is located about 650 kilometres north of Winnipeg.
