Five new cases of COVID-19 were announced in Manitoba on Thursday, bringing the province’s total number of confirmed and probable cases to 262 — 82 of which are considered active.

Health officials said Thursday that 174 people in the province have recovered from COVID-19. The number of deaths in the province connected with the illness remained at six.
