Provincial health officials will give an update on COVID-19 in Manitoba at a news conference set to begin at 11 a.m.
As of Wednesday evening, there were 35 confirmed and probable cases of the coronavirus that causes COVID-19 in the province.
Those cases include a woman in her 60s who is in an intensive care unit in critical condition, a girl under age 10 and a health-care worker.
Premier Brian Pallister has imposed a state of emergency to slow the spread of the virus.
