COVID-19 death reported in Manitoba on Tuesday

WINNIPEG — Manitoba health officials are reporting a new death related to COVID-19.

The death, reported on Tuesday, is a man in his 70s from the Southern Health region. The province said the man was a new case reported on Tuesday, and he was not hospitalized.

It’s the eighth death related to COVID-19 in the province. This is the first COVID-related death in Manitoba since May 5.

Five new cases were reported in Manitoba on Tuesday, bringing the total to 405.
